Barbara Rastad
Barbara wanted to make a photo quilt as a present for a colleague's 60th birthday. She collected some photos from their work situation, which I printed on fabric for her.
Barbara kept me updated via e-mail on the progress of the quilt. First I got to see the beautiful blocks that she made:

She collected signatures from all their coworkers over the years, and these were set into the border of the quilt.
I also got a photo taken at the presentation of the quilt, which came out absolutely stunning.
